Review By Brett, Rides for Fitness:
I love this bike! I initially bought a 7.3fx because I was just getting into bicycling, but realized it just wasn't for me. Went back to the Trek Store and traded it for my 1.5 in April 2009. Trek honored the "right bike guarantee" and really listened to my needs and wants in a bike. After trying a few (more expensive and less) I decided on the 1.5. I have not been disappointed. I ride this bike usually on 30-40 miles rides and everything about it is just outstanding! I look forward to many more rides on my 1.5!

Review By Reggie, Rides for Fitness:
I purchased a 1.5 December 26, 2008 long before the review was written...the reviews are spot on. As a 56 year old who is a type A personality who likes 100k rides, I wanted a bike that would "get me there." I have upgraded to Bontrager Race Lite X wheels and Michelin tires. This is indeed a frame worthy of building upon.

I love this bike and it is true that a little more money gets you a lot more bike, mine has a carbon seat post too. The review was spot on and the bike is fast and nimble with great control.
