WHAT'S NEW: These 2007 Dura-Ace 7810 pedals further improve on the wide-stance Lance Pedal first prototyped in '02. Besides a sleeker look, the 7810 has a lower profile for improved cornering clearance and, best of all, a new, stainless-steel body plate to replace the old plastic piece. Weight, cleats and the three-bearing axle system remain the same. WHY IT'S HOT: Its wide platform is solid, with no side-to-side rocking, and the 3 degrees of float are nice on the knees, but the salient feature is the stainless body plate, which creates a much smoother cleat-and-pedal interface for ultrasmooth action and float with fewer wear problems.
